Do you have your own set of skills that<br>will help us build the best enterprise cellular network available today?<br>OPPORTUNITY: The Engineering function, which comprises of a wide range of skill sets, is a high<br>performing team and a critical part of the continued success of Druid’s strategy. &nbsp;This is an exciting<br>opportunity to join our team of software engineers and to gain experience by contributing to the<br>development and delivery of mobile network software. The successful candidate will assist software<br>engineers to develop and deliver solutions across multiple platforms as we move into new<br>geographies and new markets.&nbsp;<br>HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per work. &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>SALARY: €29,432 per annum pro rata&nbsp;<br>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br> Working closely with the Development team on several programming languages, which may<br>include Python and C, in a Linux environment<br> Technologies include network programming, VoIP, understanding of real-time systems and<br>multi-threading.&nbsp;<br> Working with the Software Engineers to develop, implement, test and support solutions.&nbsp;<br> Developing project management skills and methodologies to assist team in ensuring timely,<br>effective and cost-efficient systems delivery and associated maintenance.&nbsp;<br> The intern will perform other duties as appropriate to a trainee, which may be assigned to<br>him/her from time to time, and to contribute to their development during the internship. &nbsp;<br>PERSON SPECIFICATION<br> Knowledge of &amp;amp; interest in C, C++, Python, Linux, network programming, VoIP,<br>understanding of real-time systems, multi-threading, Kubernetes, cloud environments,<br>OpenShift, Grafana, Prometheus.<br> Knowledge of software design processes and software testing principles<br>CORE COMPETENCIES<br> A solid team player with ability to work independently.<br> Strong focus on Quality and Customer satisfaction.&nbsp;<br> Flexible and Adaptable to developing business needs and work patterns.<br> Ability to work analytically.&nbsp;</p>
