Chinese Chef

<p>The role of Chinese Chef supports the Executive Chef Team and has a primary responsibility for overseeing and supervising production of Chinese cuisine for DO &amp; CO. You will work hard to promote the company’s culture, mission, and values. You will act as a team leader and motivator for the whole team using interpersonal skills and be a clear communicator. You will be responsible for supervising, training, evaluating, coaching, and counselling the team ensuring compliance with company standards.</p><ul><li>Working closely with the Executive Chef team to ensure that consistent quality products are produced following all DO &amp; CO standards as well designing, developing, and presenting new menu designs as per the customers’ needs in Chinese cuisine</li><li>Day to day managing and supporting of the Kitchen team</li><li>Instilling a culture of job pride and ownership and motivate the team to have the ability to adapt to stressful situations and deal with any emergencies or last-minute changes to production</li><li>Planning production to the daily schedule and ensuring the exceptional DO &amp; CO quality is maintained at its highest level with maximum efficiency in accordance with DO &amp; CO regulations as set by the Quality Assurance team</li><li>Establishing production of Chinese cuisine recipes that align with the set pricing structure and customer budget as well as controlling food costs</li><li>Ensuring operations adhere to all SOP’s and ALL relevant Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food safety and all legal requirements</li><li>Constantly performing quality control checks to ensure specifications are met on raw materials and finished products</li><li>Maintaining good working relationships with all DO &amp; CO family members as well as our partners, vendors, and other stakeholders</li></ul>

<ul><li>You will have a passion for cooking authentic Chinese cuisine</li><li>Previous experience as a Specialist Chinese Chef</li><li>passion for food and working with fresh and high-quality ingredients. An excellent leader with a positive and enthusiastic attitude</li><li>Well presented, professional individual with a can-do, positive attitude that indulges in team success</li><li>The ability to be a positive change champion for DO &amp; CO, identifying key impact areas and priorities and supporting change programmes and strategies to gain optimal results</li><li>You are a clear and engaging communicator, strong written and verbal English, and will use a variety of methods to keep the team well informed</li><li>Previous experience in a similar role, or a high-end fresh food industry related sector</li><li>Right to work in the UK</li></ul>
