Senior COTS Developer (Active TS Clearance/SCI w/CI Poly Required)

We are seeking an experienced Senior COTS Developer to join our team. This position is located in Herndon, VA and requires an Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain SCI and polygraph. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain application programs, components, and interfaces within the COTS software suite
• Support daily business operations across software systems, including Human Resources (HR), Financials, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data systems
• Leverage COTS software development and reporting tools to drive modernization efforts and system enhancements, identify and resolve defects, and provide Tier 3 support
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from databases and generate actionable reports
• Collaborate on Business Intelligence (BI) and integration components within the software ecosystem
• Support system integration and API development to connect COTS applications with external systems
• Perform platform customization, database and query management, and configuration control
• Support data conversion and migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the process
• Coordinate with program stakeholders to ensure development efforts align with business and technical requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility and successfully pass a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; alternatively, 4 additional years of relevant experience (beyond the 5 years required below) may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• 10+ years of experience with COTS development tools supporting system integration and APIs, platform customization, database and query management, and configuration control
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL, with hands-on experience writing complex queries against relational databases
• Demonstrated experience with data conversions and migrations within or between COTS platforms
• Working proficiency in HTML

Compensation & Benefits Highlights

• Target Salary Range: $170,000 - $215,000
