Preschool Cook Assistant- Clift Farms

<p>Ardent Preschool is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cook Assistant to support daily meal preparation in our preschool kitchen.</p>

<p>This is a support position in a childcare setting. It is not a restaurant or chef role.</p>

<p>Position Summary</p>

<p>The Cook Assistant works under the direction of the Preschool Cook and Director to help prepare, portion, and serve meals and snacks for young children while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.</p>

<p>Responsibilities</p>

<ul>

<li>Assist with preparing breakfast, lunch, and snacks</li>

<li>Portion and distribute meals to classrooms</li>

<li>Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment</li>

<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen</li>

<li>Follow established menus and food safety guidelines</li>

<li>Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries</li>

<li>Follow state and USDA food safety requirements</li>

</ul>

<p>Qualifications</p>

<ul>

<li>Must pass a background check</li>

<li>Ability to follow instructions and established procedures</li>

<li>Prior kitchen or food prep experience preferred</li>

<li>ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)</li>

<li>Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented</li>

</ul>

<p>Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply, and bilingual communication skills are a plus but are not required for this position.</p>
