<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Amity Foundation is hiring an Employment Services Representative to provide case management, career coaching, and job placement support to participants receiving services through the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). &nbsp;This position reports to the Lead Coordinator of Employment Services.</p>

<p>You will help participants prepare for, obtain, and retain meaningful employment by connecting them with employers, training, and wraparound resources that support long-term stability and self-sufficiency.</p>

<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>

<p><strong>Participant Support</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Conduct intake, eligibility screening, and needs assessments, and develop and monitor Individual Service Plans (ISPs) that support each participant's employment goals.</li>

<li>Provide employment readiness coaching, including résumé writing, mock interviews, time management, and workplace skills.</li>

<li>Guide participants on disclosing conviction history to employers and connect them with expungement resources or a Certificate of Rehabilitation.</li>

<li>Coordinate supportive services and community referrals to address barriers to employment.</li>

<li>Provide post-placement coaching and retention support to help participants sustain long-term employment.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Employer &amp; Program Engagement</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Build and maintain employer partnerships to identify openings and promote successful participant placements.</li>

<li>Notify employers of hiring incentives such as the Work Opportunity Tax Credit and the fidelity bonding program and maintain a roster of employers open to hiring DOR participants.</li>

<li>Coordinate closely with DOR counselors and community partners on participant progress and transition planning.</li>

<li>Maintain accurate case documentation in Apricot and required program reporting.</li>

<p><strong>What We are Looking For</strong></p>

<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Workforce Development, or a related field — OR</li>

<li>A High school diploma/equivalent plus 2+ years of experience in employment services, workforce development, case management, or vocational rehabilitation.</li>

<li>Valid California driver's license and eligibility for Amity vehicle insurance.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Experience working with justice-involved populations, individuals with disabilities, or other underserved communities.</li>

<li>Knowledge of Department of Rehabilitation services and employment programs, or California expungement and reentry resources.</li>

</ul>

<p>This position requires the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and several moving parts. Therefore, the candidate should have:</p>

<li>Strong case management and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidential information.</li>

<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with genuine enthusiasm for helping people.</li>

<li>Empathy and an understanding of the importance of role-reversal, paired with patience and active listening.</li>

<li>Genuine interest in diverse life stories, and the ability to build professional relationships with employers, community partners, and participants.</li>

<li>Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.</li>

<li>Strong relationship building skills. </li>

<p><strong>Certifications &amp; Conditions of Employment</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>When offered the position, candidates will be required to complete First Aid and CPR certification, along with a physical examination and tuberculosis clearance, before confirmation.</li>

<li>As a condition of employment, a job offer is contingent on satisfactory results from a background investigation conducted by Amity and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).</li>
